WHAT A WEEK!! Congrats to .wisman.softball.2026 and her teammates on the WV 4A State Championship win!! 🔥 Maddie was SOLID for the entire tournament throwing 4 complete game shutouts earning her the Tournament MVP Award and All Tournament Team honors! I am so incredibly proud! 😁😁😁

WV 1A STATE CHAMPS!! 🔥 I cannot begin to say how proud I am of these girls! Absolutely amazing pitching display from earning her All Tournament Team and Tournament MVP! What an amazing senior season!! Outstanding display of mental fortitude and just plain grit! 👏👏 And .softball with outstanding wins this season, especially closing out that regional win to get your team to states!! You two should be so proud!!!! ⭐️⭐️

💙💛⚡️ WPIAL CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP ⚡️💛💙

The Lady Mikes came up short Thursday in the WPIAL Championship Game, falling to Union Area by a score of 6-2.

Carmichaels got on the board early in the first inning and added another run in the third, but Union Area used a big fourth inning to take control. The Lady Mikes continued to battle throughout the game and finished with 5 hits on the night.

🔹 Ke’Lani Chun led the offense, going 2-for-4 with 2 runs scored and a stolen base.
🔹 Carys McConnell and Kenlee Machesky each drove in a run.
🔹 Hits were also added by McConnell, Machesky, and Avery Voithofer.

While the outcome wasn’t what the Lady Mikes hoped for, this team has once again proven itself among the best in the WPIAL with another championship appearance and another outstanding postseason run. 💙💛🥈

Now the focus shifts to the next goal… the state playoffs. ⚡️

Thank you to all of the fans who continue to support these girls every step of the way. The journey isn’t over yet!
