Here's some "food for thought"..,

The type of flooring kids dance on can affect their bodies for the rest of their lives! Choose a dance studio with the proper equipment and flooring to safely learn dance is SO IMPORTANT!

ABOUT OUR SPRUNG FLOORING:
Injuries caused by dance activities have increased dramatically over the past few years. This is a natural result of increased dance activity; but a major additional factor is that these activities are being performed on flooring that features poor shock absorption, inadequate resilience, and inappropriate surface friction. A number of athletic medical projects have revealed that surface-elastic "sprung" type flooring induces a far SMALLER number of injuries than that of other floor types. International research has produced similar findings. The flooring at EADS is equally suitable for dance or aerobic/athletic activities of all age groups, whether they are recreational or professional.
Our professionally installed flooring is a surface elastic dance sprung floor; the elasticity being built into the system!
