What a weekend!

Day 1-Short track. Kross rode well but couldn’t wait for the big tracks to come. Finished thr short track with a P8 and a P7.

Day 2-Super TT! Last year this track but Kross a little, but he was starting to figure out this go around. He looked much more confident going into it and started to figure out where he needed to be to make the corners smoother. Finished with a P8 and a P7 i think.

Day 3-Classic TT!! Kross loves this track, and today he showed it. He showed a lot of confidence today and really picked up on his corner speed. He did great! Finally started to trust his tires and didnt let the slide spook him.

We hope the confidence keeps moving in the right direction. We are still struggling with starts but i finally got some good video to show him exactly what hes doing.

All in all it was an awesome weekend with awesome people. Thank you CENTRAL ILLINOIS MOTORCYCLE CLUB for yet another great weekend!

Kross is sore but healing, the bike will be fixed this week, broke a couple things on it but biggest thing is hes all good. Kross is already talking about his favorite weekend at CENTRAL ILLINOIS MOTORCYCLE CLUB coming up! See yall in Neoga!

Kross rode hard last night! He also listened to what tips people had and if was helping him start to go in the right direction.

I believe we finished P6 in the 85 class and P7 in the Open youth.

Last night wasn’t all good stuff though, in the Open Youth class Kross got into 2 wrecks, first one I didn’t see but heard another racer hit him when he checked up so he didn’t hit the kid in front of him. The second one was a little more serious, Kross started to slide out and the front tire tucked, when the bike caught and tossed him back right, the recovery was there but unfortunately another racer was coming around him and sent Kross flying and the other racer off the track.

All racers are okay and that’s what matters most to us! Nothing matters more to us in those moments than if everyone is okay. Kross stayed calm and went on to finish his race.
