Jeff Adams was busy today. The bush hog was humming with lots of heavy clearing on holes 3, 4, and all around the pond on hole 5 Then, we followed it up with some evening mulching around a bunch of targets.

A little more mowing coming later this week and we should be ready to roll!

With Jeff Adams clearing fields with the bush hog and me running around with the line trimmer, big progress is being made on the front nine. The fields adjacent to #2, #5, #6, #7, #8, and #9 are way more manageable. Still more clearing on some spots on #3 and #4 but it’s looking great.

All the baskets are now in their shortest positions - including hole #14. The anchor had been hiding for a while but it has been found!

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!

Here are pics of baskets in some of the seldom seen short pins in advance of NOVA Women's Disc Golf Club event on Saturday, October 25. Looks like the event is pretty close to full, but maybe they’ve got some tricks to get a few extra teams into the field?

Hole assignments for Saturday's USDGC Doubles Qualifier are posted. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM and the first round starts at 9:15 AM.

Last year, we qualified the FA1 team that won the USDGC Doubles main event in Rock Hill, South Carolina. MJ and Aubrey shot two great rounds at Jenkins and then followed that up with a come-from-behind win over three rounds last October in the FA1 division.

We'd like to think that they may have been just a little better prepared than their competition. And maybe a little of that bear energy never hurts! Get registered today and earn your spot!
