I think my trust issues really turned into a skill 💇🏽‍♀️

Building a life rich in memories, not in things.

The best investments we’ve ever made don’t fit on a shelf—they live in our hearts and in our children’s stories. 🤍

Thirty-four looked a lot different in my head when I was younger.

Honestly, I was convinced that by 34 I’d be VERY old. Like, sensible shoes, mysterious back pain, and voluntarily going to bed at 8 p.m. old. 😂

I imagined big celebrations, fancy dinners, parties, and crowded tables. But somewhere along the way, I realized that my favorite birthdays are the quiet ones.

Just us.

The four people who know me best, love me most, and make ordinary moments feel extraordinary.

I woke up to a surprise my husband had quietly put together while I slept, making me feel celebrated before the day had even begun. It was simple, thoughtful, and exactly what my heart needed.

For the second year in a row, we celebrated with sandy feet, pool days, tired toddlers, and hearts that felt incredibly full.

And honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

These are the people I prayed for.
These are the memories I want to keep forever.

Being with them, hallelujah. 🤍

34. Grateful beyond words.

24 days. Done. ✨

I learned that cravings come and go, habits can be changed, and I’m capable of more self-discipline than I gave myself credit for.

Now… let’s see what birthday cake tastes like after 24 days without sugar. 😂🎂🤍

⚠️ She trusted them with her life. They forgot the rope.

A 21-year-old woman named Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas paid for what was supposed to be a guided rope-jump experience at the “Skeleton Bridge” — an abandoned railway bridge in Limeira, Brazil. Her fiancé was watching. The camera was rolling.

Three instructors carried her to the edge, spread her arms wide, and threw her off a 130-foot drop.

Behind them, the safety rope sat coiled on the ground — still attached to nothing.

Bystanders can be heard screaming “The rope! The rope!” — but it was already too late.

Two employees tried to flee into nearby woods after she fell but were tracked down with help of a police helicopter. Police revealed the group was operating without proper permits — no authorization to even be on that bridge.

Three men — ages 27, 32, and 42 — now face homicide charges. Their lawyers call it an “unprecedented tragedy.” But witnesses say no safety check was conducted before her jump.

She was a physical education graduate. She had a fiancé. She had a future.

All gone because someone forgot to attach a rope.

Day 12/24 ✔️

I’ve dreamed twice that I broke my no-sugar challenge… only to wake up relieved it was just a dream. 😅

One thing I’ve learned so far is that cravings come and go. The hardest part isn’t saying no to sugar once—it’s continuing to say no when nobody is watching.

Still going strong. One day at a time. 🤍

If you’ve noticed I’ve been quiet on stories lately…

Just know I’m still here 😅

By the time the kids are asleep and I finally sit down, I’m completely exhausted.

We keep pushing!
