Our Club, District Impact Skating Club (DISC), had an amazing Presidents Day Test Session at Fort Dupont Ice Arena! It was our first test session and we will share more photos. For many figure skaters, this was their first time testing. We had fabulous teen volunteers, DISC team, Coaches. Loved meeting so many families! A few years ago, I began to incorporate the gym into my lifestyle in addition to cycling. My health had spiraled. Routine became a habit.

I didn't know how to use some of the equipment or do what was best for my body. My husband said- "baby, you should work with the Trainer, Cedric. He can help you". Fast forward 2021 - I did! I went from - "I will never do weights", to being an advocate for strength training! I'm healthier at 45 than when I was 20!
Planet Fitness Trainer Cedric Richardson is amazing! I always say that he's my Trainer. I know, I have to share him with others. 😂🤣
He meets you where you are and helps you to develop a plan. He's always patient and creative - thanks so so much Cedric! Thank you Planet Fitness for a great team! If you are in DC, seek out Cedric Richardson. ☺️

Fall is here and today was so beautiful! I biked, went to the gym (favorite trainer was back) and biked again.
This is definitely a different lunch routine 😊
