We are happy to announce today the merger of Futsal America (FA) with City Sporting Club in DC.
FA will provide the expansion to the Girls side of City starting with the 2006 Girls that will enable all High School aged girls to participate in EDP League play and Futsal year round.
All HS players are welcome and may contact me for more details.
City has 2007, 2010 and 2013 Boys and Coed teams that play in EDP. Girls are challenged both to play up in ages and with Boys to help accelerate their personal growth and skills development.

Practices are held regularly at Edgewood Rec Center just behind Trinity University
NOTE: This is a special reunion where we have come full circle. I began coaching Jason and Alex at Takoma Rec back in 1991 from the age of 6. From players to coaches they have been part of my life ever since and today as fathers of 2 boys and mentors to both youth and college players at Howard University and Trinity University they have taken big steps to create their own DC based club that prepares some 100 young people to follow a player centric model of development that nurtures a village mentality for life and some of the most creative ballers in the DMV. Nobody is left behind as the motto for the club is CHILDREN FIRST.
As one who has been around every level of youth club in the Mid Atlantic region, this is the first time in 30 years that I have seen a club be true to those words. This is why I am both proud and excited to join them in their quest to bringing people together to share a love for the game and journey to become outstanding young people just as they are excellent models as human beings.
