The 2026 CGC Players – America 250 Tournament wrap-up.

If you’re going into battle, you need a good shooter and a good Sergeant at Arms.
And that is exactly what happened at Lake Presidential on July 11, 2026.
· 1st Place goes to the shooter – Bill Shute
· 2nd Place goes to the Sergeant at Arms – John Jay Sergent

Good morning, Capital Golfers -
Thanks to everyone for a great event on what turned out to be a beautiful day at Stonewall Golf Club.

Congratulations to John Tierney, who successfully defended his title from last year in impressive fashion—winning by 10 shots and finishing as the only player under par. A dominant performance all around. It’s also no surprise that he also took home the Fewest Putts award.

We had a good time today at Westfields and no rain!

Nick won the low net at -3. Ackerman finished second at +2. Closest to pin on #7 was Ackerman. Longest drive on #15 was Greg Gosselin.
