This weekend our teams head to the Mid Atlantic Cup, the last tournament of the spring season. It's been a long season and our players have put in the work. Now it's time to finish strong.

This one hit different. 🧡

The Bason family has been part of DC Way for years, with all three of their kids going through our programs at different stages of their soccer journeys. Even after moving two states away, they're still part of this community.

Here's what they had to say:

"What first attracted us to DC Way was the way the coaches made learning soccer fun. As our children grew and became more serious about the sport, the training evolved with them, becoming more challenging, tactical, and focused on development."

This is why we do what we do. 🧡

We sat down with David Schneider, parent of Oliver from our U8 Boys Orange team, to hear about his family's journey at DC Way Academy.

Oliver started in the rec league and worked his way into the academy. Along the way the family found something they didn't expect — a real community. Running into coaches and teammates around the neighborhood, showing up to cleanups and games together. It became more than just soccer.

In David's own words:
"Oliver gets to release all that extra energy in a curated competitive environment, and the staff makes participating easy, which is one less thing we worry about."

That's exactly what we're building here. One family at a time. ⚽🙌
