OUT OF TOWN ATHLETES
There is no drop-in fee. For current USAW members (or your country's weightlifting federation), come train with us whenever you're in town. Please go to dcweightlifting.org/out-of-town-athletes/ and request training times. Do not sit on loaded bars with bumpers
TEAM REQUIREMENTS
* Follow team or approved programming (accessory work is individual)
* Current USAW membership
* Compete in 2 meets/year (may include intra-squad or developmental meets)
* Train 3 of 4 days per week
* Become USAW member within 3 months
* Become LWC ref within 6 months
ENCOURAGED
* Become Level 1 Sport Performance, Club, National, or higher Coach. Reimbursements available. LWC (Local) MEETS
Members regularly train and compete throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Our Local Weightlifting Committee's meets include Baltimore Open (Feb), Capital City Open (April), Black & Red Open (July), NOVA Open (Oct), and developmental and qualifier meets. We also support, volunteer, and encourage other local meets in our area. TEAM EQUIPMENT
