I am happy to announce that I will be presenting at the Fit and Female Expo June 26 - 27 hosted by at Washington Sports Club, Columbia Heights. 100% of ticket sales from the 2-day event will go to benefit Girls on the Run DC!

Spoiler alert 🚨 there is no physical medal but I don’t care!! Y’all are probably like “I didn’t hear about any races in DC this weekend, especially not a relay” you know why??? Because thought up, designed the course and executed this race of 40ish miles across all 8 wards in DC and called it the “Chocolate City Relay”. She chose 4 other black woman, all from different run groups and different areas of the dmv to say “Hey ladies, let’s show them what Black Girl Magic is made of AND let’s do it In all 8 wards” and we all said YUP. Let’s do it.
Thank you queens .renee.france for letting me run along side you, for the laughs, for the motivation running tips, and for your positive energy and community!
My heart is still SO full from Saturday. We need to make this an annual thing and show them that Black women run. We run far we run long and we build each other up!
Can’t forget the best support crew and photographers 📸 .6 we could not have done this without you! And and the rest of the crew for post race support and love!
