Chesapeake Students and Alumni:

Any of and all of our players are encouraged to learn more about Rugby by becoming a Rugby Referee (plus you can get PAID!).

For FREE (until the end of the year) there is an ONLINE way for you to become an Assistant Referee and LEARN MORE about the game.

GET ON THIS ASAP and LEARN MORE. Smart Rugby Players are the best Rugby Players!!!

USA Rugby has a new, online, Assistant Referee course that is free until the end of the month.

Little known fact: You don’t have to be a full referee to be an assistant referee.

I suggest all referees take the course because there’s excellent points on how to be a good Assistant Referee, which is very different from being a center referee.

Clubs, please pass this along to your membership. I am sure each club would like to have actual Assistant Referees for their matches instead of some dude waving a flag. This benefits everyone, especially your players and fans!

To access the course, login to your Rugby XPlorer account and navigate to the Learning Center along the left hand side. Look for the Assistant Referee Online course. Lots of cool videos and really good information.

Have fun and remember to get this done before the end of the year!
