HAPPY MONDAY PEOPLE AND LISTEN UP:
Here are 5 steps for BEGINNERS starting on their fitness journey (cultivated by yours truly):
1. DEFINE YOUR GOALS š
- What is your WHY? This is extremely important as it allows you to create the perfect program for your goals.
2. CREATING A PROGRAM šļøāāļø
- Creating a program can be challenging, but there is an easy way to simplify it. It should be enough that you can COMMIT to, but not too much to where it is unsustainable.
3. FOCUS ON NUTRITION š„
- It is true, 20% comes from working out. The other 80% is the kitchen. And yeah, they were right. Same with the training. START OFF SMALL.
4. FOCUS ON RECOVERY š
- PRIORITIZE SLEEP. Being a night owl doesnāt usually work well with trying to see progress. This is your bodyās time to recover from the day and prepare you for the next.
5. SUPPLEMENTS? š
- Donāt get wrapped up on supplementation more than you need too. Supplements can help, but you donāt need an entire cabinet worth of vitamins and minerals (unless you have a diagnosed reason).
