We are excited to announce that RIRC will open on October 5th for the season! This summer has been full of big updates to enhance your playing experience. These additions include a new insulated roof to keep out leaks and keep us warm during winter months, and the uneven surfaces on courts 2 and 3 have been revamped by Westboro Tennis Surfaces. All 6 courts will be resurfaced once the new roof is complete. Other enhancements include new lights, new nets, new side curtains and new score cards.

Our opening day is a bit later than we hoped (due to back order of our roofing material) but we are so excited to have you back this fall.

Our session dates for contract time are:
1st half: October 5th - January 24th
2nd half: January 25th - June 15th

Even more big changes this week at RIRC! Years of overgrowth were finally cleared to make way for new landscaping and much needed exterior repairs. This new space gives us added visibility, increased safety, and easy access for building repairs. Thank you to Warwick Tree Service Inc for the excellent job!! 👏

Once the outside is taken care of, next step is court resurfacing! Stay tuned 🎾

Rhode Island Racquet Club started renovations with removing the sign out front only to find another sign beneath it! Created in 1970 and signed by C. Donnelly. While we navigate through permits and procedures to put up our new sign. Look for this historic piece of history!

Welcome to our page! Tennis RI, Westbay will officially become Rhode Island Racquet Club on June 1st! We will keep you posted as we renovate during the summer months!!!
