it might not have been the outcome we wanted but this team has continued to set the bar high for future seasons!

after losing 5 out of 6 top 6 players last year, the odds were already against us but this team showed up! from the moment we started back in January they have continued to show up, push through, and give it their all!

this is not a loss, but a great lesson! we faced a very tough, competitive Bland County team.

no better way to end the season than at the state championship!

to the seniors, you both will be missed SO much! Averil, your leadership with your teammates is nothing short of amazing! Amelia, you stepped up when we needed you the most and i’m proud you did!

Tomorrow, these girls will be heading to Liberty University to play in the team state championship match on Thursday at 1pm.

5-4 score and a 13-11 tiebreaker with 2 FRESHMAN to win the match!!!

I could not be more proud of this team for battling it all out on the court today!
