BATTLE @ THE LAKE 💙🌊🥎 | FASTPITCH TOURNAMENT

Vortex 12u is tentatively hosting a HOME softball tournament right here in Warsaw, Missouri!

This tournament is for registered C USSSA teams that would like to participate in a one day battle at the lake!

We would like to run a pool play into bracket setup, awarding 1st and 2nd place winners with individual medals.

📍Warsaw, Missouri (Bledsoe Ferry Sports Complex)
💰 $300 Per Team
🤍 Proof of registration through USSSA
- straight softball rules
- flip during pool play for home/away
- higher seeding is home during bracket

Some of our girly pops getting work in before this weekend! 🥎

Goodluck to our 10s who are playing in the Super C’s Memorial Day Tournament in Olathe 💙
They are 1-0 this morning, playing now, and again this evening.

Goodluck to our 12s who are playing in the Memorial Day Madness in Fenton, Mo 💙 they play at 4:30 and 6:00 this evening.

10s Update: 💙

These girls are sitting at 4-4, after another tournament weekend. They batted hard going into ITB during their second bracket game this afternoon, but fell to KC Bulldogs Baldwin. We are so proud of them for their fight the entire tournament!

Some fun recaps of some their games:
💙 Josie P stepped in the circle first for Vortex 10U. (First game against KC Riverdogs) The right-handed pitcher surrendered two hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out seven and walking two.
Alaina and Brenner were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Vortex 10U. Brenner went 1-for-1 at the plate to lead Vortex 10U in hits. Josie threw an immaculate inning in the first, striking out the side on nine pitches.

💙 Kennedy started in the circle for Vortex 10U (Baldwin Bulldogs) The righty gave up eight hits and nine runs (eight earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out nine and walking seven.
Jasmine went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Vortex
10U in hits. Hailey H, Josie P, and Libby B led the team with two free passes each.

The right-handed pitcher allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking two.
Vortex 10U amassed eight hits in the game.
Kennedy provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Vortex 10U with three runs batted in. The first baseman went 2-for-2 on the day. Emma, Kennedy, and Jasmine each collected two hits for Vortex 10U.

10u and 12u both play next weekend! Wish them luck!

Unfortunately due to family obligations and other commitments, we have lost some players from our Vortex 10’s team. We are currently looking for 5-6 girls who would be interested in joining our team for Spring and Summer. If you have a player interested, who is born after September 1st 2014, please get ahold of us. We would love to meet and talk.
