10s Update: 💙
These girls are sitting at 4-4, after another tournament weekend. They batted hard going into ITB during their second bracket game this afternoon, but fell to KC Bulldogs Baldwin. We are so proud of them for their fight the entire tournament!

💙 Josie P stepped in the circle first for Vortex 10U. (First game against KC Riverdogs) The right-handed pitcher surrendered two hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out seven and walking two.
Alaina and Brenner were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Vortex 10U. Brenner went 1-for-1 at the plate to lead Vortex 10U in hits. Josie threw an immaculate inning in the first, striking out the side on nine pitches.
💙 Kennedy started in the circle for Vortex 10U (Baldwin Bulldogs) The righty gave up eight hits and nine runs (eight earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out nine and walking seven.
Jasmine went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Vortex
10U in hits. Hailey H, Josie P, and Libby B led the team with two free passes each.

Vortex 10U amassed eight hits in the game.
Kennedy provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Vortex 10U with three runs batted in. The first baseman went 2-for-2 on the day. Emma, Kennedy, and Jasmine each collected two hits for Vortex 10U.
10u and 12u both play next weekend! Wish them luck!
