As many of you know we have been closed for a while. What started as a short time closed for a vacation turned into going all over taking care of family health issues and health issues of my own. With that being said we were offered to sell and we took the opportunity. The crew at 54 Outdoor will be taking over the bait making and will be up and running in the near future. We will continue to do jig heads for now. We would like to thank everyone that supported us over the past four years.

Many people have asked what profiles do we carry. Well here they are. The top is the flap jack, 2.5” long, second is the split tail 2.25” long. Next is the straight tail 2.5”, followed by the closer 1/5” and wiggler 1.35”. The top four can be done in single and dual dual color as pictured and the wiggler is single color only.

Around 22 years ago I met a older gentleman on Truman Lake. I was just starting out crappie fishing and he had my attention. For close to an hour the man caught fish after fish. After he had his limit he and his friend idled by me and asked me how I was doing? I told him I was struggling. This man threw me a bag of bait that he made in his shop. He gave me his name and address and his baits were all I used for years. This is the color that Mr. Dwayne Hastings gave me (minus the glitter). I still use it from time to time but know I should probably use it more. Dwayne thank you for showing me those baits and teaching me how to slip cork below the dam.
