🥎 WHAT A SEASON. 🥎
As we close out Year Two of the Clatsop County Softball League, it’s hard to put into words how grateful we are.
What started as a simple thought — bring people together, play softball, have fun, compete, and give back to our community — has become something so much bigger.
Year One: 5 teams.
Year Two: 11 teams.
Somewhere along the way, an idea became a community. ❤️
To every player, coach, umpire, sponsor, volunteer, family member, and fan who supported us this season — THANK YOU. You believed in this league. You showed up. You helped make it what it is today.
Unfortunately, we are sad to announce that our end-of-year tournament has been cancelled. Team availability was the major factor in making this decision. It’s not the ending we hoped for, but we believe it’s the right decision for our teams and our league.
But when we look back, we won’t focus on the tournament we didn’t get to play.
We’ll remember everything we did.
The games. The friendships. The competition. The laughs. The memories. And most importantly, the community we built together.
Giving back has always been part of our mission.
This year, we were proud to donate to Warrenton Kids Inc. to help with the much-needed renovation of their softball field. It’s a long-overdue project, and one we hope will inspire future generations to pick up a glove, step onto that field, and someday join us — long after they hang up their baseball and softball cleats in high school.
And we’re not done.
👀 Keep an eye out for our off-season fundraising efforts. We want to continue finding ways to give back and make an impact in our community.
