After 9 unforgettable seasons, this Missouri Fury softball journey has come to a close.
Over 500 games coached. Countless hours on the field. And more memories than I could ever put into words.
I just want to say thank you.
Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for making this journey one I’ll never forget.
To every player who ever wore a Fury jersey: you’ve left your mark, not just on this team, but on my heart. Watching you grow into strong, confident, and resilient young women was always the goal.
To the families who stood beside us through road trips, early mornings, and long weekends in every kind of weather, thank you for your support and belief.
To my coaching staff and team parents: I couldn’t have done this without you. Your dedication and love for this team kept us going.
And to the girls: I know I made mistakes. I’m far from perfect. But I always tried my best to challenge you, to support you, and to believe in you, even when you didn’t believe in yourselves.
This isn’t the end… it’s just the closing of this chapter. Wherever life takes you next, carry this team with you and remember the laughter, the fight, the friendships, and the love. Once you’re part of this family, you’re always part of it.
