8 years ago today mrstatgolf.com hit the internet. 8 years of searching for and finding Georgia’s tournament champions and award winners. Currently we have 36,492 championships/awards won by 14,711 different players/teams listed on the website. AND we have a long way to go. Many of you have wins we do not know about. Please let us know what we’re missing. You played hard for your win and it needs to be recorded as a part of Georgia’s golf history.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us either by simply enjoying the website, by supplying information we didn’t have, or by contributing financially. Also to the many friends we have made from doing this these past 8 years, your friendships have been an unexpected blessing and mean more to Marie and me than we can tell you.

I’m excited to say we will soon be the digital library for a golf nonprofit foundation that is in the works. More details will be available soon.
