The 2026 SCTP state sporting clays shoot is in the books. What a great competition this year. We hosted 496 shooters from 42 teams from around the state. Threw over 60,000 targets. Met a lot of of our young shooters from our own state. They shot at targets off a lift, rabbits off ramps, and targets thrown off of trampolines, along with a great variety of targets on an 18 station hundred bird course.

Don’t worry, we got you covered. Our next event is another Triple Bird in September to warm you up for hunting season.

We are open for walk on shooting Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00 to 4:00. We also have active leagues running through the end of the year.

Our next event is the Triple Bird on June 6th! Come test your skills and shoot the infamous “one bird” on the last station. Three shots, one bird.

For you over and under enthusiasts, Feel free to bring your over and under for the true pair event!

We are entering our busy season, with the Small Gauge Pheasant Challenge tomorrow, the Triple Bird on June 6, the SCTP State Sporting Clays shoot on June 13 and 14, and the Side-by-Side Classic June 25-27.

Part of the course management is dust control. We just got done spreading 2000 pounds of calcium chloride brine and 1600 gallons of water. It definitely worked! Looking forward to the rest of the summer!
