We originally had the wpks race at Somerset County on the schedule as that's one of my personal favorite tracks but for family reasons I feel like I should stay closer to home in case me and the wife are needed. So our tentative plans are try to get dialed in for the Boardman race and possibly lockharts. We will
Be at Pittsfield Friday night with Zaydan.
I'm definitely disappointed not being able to. Support this series but I have to put family and my little man #1.

I would like to thank all the people that came out and supported zaydan bush racing. It obviously was a long week and he & his family greatly appreciated. We are finally getting him use to the rolling starts and not hitting the karts under caution. He absolutely loves racing and every week we are going to work on getting better. He has speed now he is afraid to hit anything so he spun himself out to avoid karts because I pulled off. He's a young 5 year old and the grandpa grandson bond is growing every week and the time with him is a true blessing. I have to thank Justin Barker for all the help with him at the track zaydan really likes him. Thanks you to the following

Racing plans this weekend are to try to get zaydan bush racing back on the track Friday night at Pittsfield if things allow it. The rest of the weekend no racing with the other kart I need to put racing aside for a week and spend sometime with the wife and clear our heads out.

We made the trip to Lockhart Raceway with the 325 clone kart we had the worst possible pill pull and started last In the heat race. We quickly got the lead and won with a 5 kart lead. In the feature we started 2nd got freight trained but Brian did good at getting down in about 6th. He quickly got back up to 2nd and was on the leaders bumper then Karson Fry came on strong and got by us put us to
3rd. Fry in a few laps made a mistake in a tricky 3/4 turns. We got back up to 2nd but tires went away a tad had a 2nd place kart plus possibly gear bound some. We are very impressed on how Brian did and the more the kid is around the more we like him. It's nice to have someone with input on what's going on, very helpful at the track. We got wins coming. All and all very pleased with our weekend and congratulations to Austin Wheeler that young man did a fine job

Zippy Zaydan Recap
Friday night we took Zippy Zaydan Bush Pittsfield Championship Kart. We continue to learn each week. Zay has been having an issue with hitting the karts in front of him at times pretty hard. We have been dealing with his helmet fogging up and his saying at times he can’t see. We apparently have not been asking the right questions. Thanks to Justin Barker we now know he can not see over the front of the kart. So Ron will be cutting that down this week. In the feature it was a little rough. The crew chief made the decision to pull him off after he kept hitting people. CJ Ramsey then pointed out how his helmet was riding up making it so he could not see. So between fogging up, the helmet riding up, and the front of the kart hopefully we can get this fixed. Papa took him to Stateline karts Saturday morning to do a little watching to help him learn. Working in flags and cautions. So he will be all ready to go Friday night. Hopefully Everton in his class realizes that he is not hitting people on purpose and this is a learning experience.

We took Zaydan Bush Racing racing to Pittsfield Karting association last night and nay nay was a little mad because he was under the weather and had really bad stomach ache aka the squirts from amoxicillin. We had 2 photo finishes the 1st one came at Sheetz stall 1 on the way to the track. The 2nd one came in heat one for the win. 2nd heat crew chief tried going up on air pressure he looped it and took a hard shot to the noise. Finished 3rd. By the time the feature came around lil man not feeling good and stressful week caught up. The purple plate feature took forever and zaydan fell asleep in nay nay arms with helmet on. He started out strong got tangled up with his buddy Copeland a few times lead a few laps but kind of of just faded he's helmet fogged up. When I asked him what happened buddy he said papa you did horrible this week you have no work Ethic and horrible in the garage. He admitted he couldn't see and was so tired he couldn't stay awake. He's doing an amazing job for a young 5 year old.

I've made the decision to race only Zaydan this weekend. We are all good with the adult kart but I decided that with stuff going on personally-family . Zaydan could use my 100% my attention and me be a papa not just crew chief. We will be back and loaded next week with both karts and ready to win. We will be at Pittsfield possibly stateline. Sometimes family has to be #1 especially zaydan

First night of racing. Super proud of the 915 team tonight at Pittsfield.
Zaydan had his first night in Red predator. Getting the hang of the rolling starts was a little rough for all the racers. Zaydan got the hang of things by the feature and made a nice pass to take the lead for a few laps. He came in second to his buddy. He did a great job in his first time out for the year in a new class.
In the 325 clone our new driver Brian Cressley had a great night. He had two solid heat races taking first in both. He had a solid feature taking second place with the kart needing some adjusting.
It was a great first night. There was a lot of teamwork tonight. We are super proud of both the drivers. We look forward to next week!
