DSA United, a newly formed non-profit premier soccer club in the Mid-coast region, is excited to announce an open try out for both U-15 (boys born 8-1-98 to 7-31-99) and U-16 (boys born 8-1-97 to 7-31-98) on Sunday September 29, 2013 at the Camden Hills Regional High School field.
U 15 boys try out will run from 10:30 am – 12pm while U16 boys will be from 12pm – 1:30pm. Players can register at www.dutchsocceracademy.com or email [email protected].
DSA United has partnered with the PITCH (Penbay Indoor Turf & Community Hub), a new state of the art indoor 180-foot by 279-foot sports facility in Warren to offer year round training opportunities.
“Our aim is not to take players away from other existing clubs, but rather to create more opportunities for those that want to play premier soccer. By starting a premier club in this region, more players can play soccer year round” stated Robbie Krul, DSA United’s Director of Coaching.
The new soccer club is geared towards the 3 sport athlete as to not interfere with winter and spring sports. Selected players will train to compete in the Maine State Premier League in the spring of 2014. Training time will be split between Augusta/Waterville & Camden/Rockport.
“Playing competitive games are a very important aspect of the premier experience, but we will also place a strong emphasis on our training methods and practice time” added Krul, a licensed member of the prestigious KNVB coaching association.
About DSA United – DSA United is a non-profit premier soccer club and their mission is to provide a high quality soccer program at affordable rates.
“Having three kids playing soccer ourselves, we understand the large investment of time and finances for families that have kids involved in premier soccer. DSA United players should expect to see a return on their investment by the end of the premier season” stated Tammy Krul, Co-Director of Dutch Soccer Academy.
