We may not be racing this weekend but we sure have chewed through some Hoosiers this past month! One of the biggest expenses in racing is tires! For $150 you will put a fresh set of right side tires on one of our rides and help get us to the front! With that we will promote your business on the sides of our race cars and include you in our race weekend recaps! Join the team as we battle across the Midwest this season! Weekend recap!
This last weekend was our first stop on the Midwest Thunder .25 Quarter Midget Racing Series at Little Kalamazoo Speedway Quarter Midget Club!!

Saturday was Honda day!

Maddie sr Honda. This was a deep deep field of very experienced sr Honda drivers from across the country!

Heat - 1➡️3 putting her in the b main
B main - car was tight and off pace a bit so she did not transfer. She ended up 9th in the race. Great job Maddie holding it down in such a deep field! We will continue to work and get your cars better in this stacked division!!

Everett jr Honda.
Heat - 5➡️4 putting him as the 2 car in the b main.

B main - 2➡️3. Great job seeing an opening on the restart and getting down as soon as you could!! He settled in at 3 and rode it out for his very first a main transfer!!

A main Everett’s first jr Honda a main!! - 9➡️8. His car was very fast but unfortunately got caught up in a wreck with really nowhere to go with about 15 laps to go and it kicked his toe out a bit. The car wasn’t the same the rest of the run. He settled in and finished the race but we really had no chance after that wreck.

Onto Sunday animal day!

Ev jr animal! Holy crap did we have a rocket ship for a race car. It was a handful for Ev and he made some mistakes during the day leading to not the finish that car deserved.

Heat - 3➡️5 as mentioned above Ev had a stupid fast car but ended up looping a car trying to pass for the lead which put him in the back. He battled to get back up but was struggling to time a pass on a super slow car. Dad got a little heated because he knew what we had but again he’s learning and improving every lap he takes! Take a breath! 😂😂

A main - 9➡️7 again car was stupid fast I’m very certain we had podium speed. Ev is learning what to do with all that speed and his time will absolutely come!

Midwest thunder is an incredibly competitive and difficult series to run! Everyone there is so good so to accomplish the things we did this weekend at our very first one competing for points we are leaving with our heads up high! We only missed one a main and that was on dad not the driver!

We hit the road tomorrow for the first stop of the Midwest Thunder .25 Quarter Midget Racing Series at Little Kalamazoo Speedway Quarter Midget Club! Looks like almost 230 cars registered! Going to be a wild and crazy weekend!
