Fall is a great time for watching migratory birds and taking in the stunning display of autumn colors. Winter provides high water levels fun for paddling through the flooded forest. Spring and summer offer serene views of the cascades and soothing paddles along the bay. You can watch the bay come alive during the spring months and bask in the sun during those warm summer days. Whether you are a first time paddler or have been paddling for years, Scappoose Bay has an adventure for you. Our tours range from overnight excursions on Bachelor Island which is a special treat for the stargazing paddlers, to a one day tour of Warrior Rock Lighthouse, or even the fan-favorite Scappoose Bay Wetlands tour. We also offer private custom tours for small or large groups which are a perfect family outings or team building exercises. These private tours include everything you’ll need from the kayak and paddle to the snacks and laughs on the beach. We offer a variety of classes for kayaking, kayak fishing, stand up paddle boarding (SUP), and SUP Yoga for all ability levels.
