It may have been a tad moist on the course...lol. last night, but this Golf Academy coach had an absolute blast with not just one, but with 3 of his students putting on a display of insane golf accomplishments. I cold not be more proud of the golf that i witnessed with this group. If there was ever a time that i wished I could have gotten every smooth swing, every amazing approach shot, every perfectly distanced chips, and some stupid crazy good putts on video, then last night would have been the time to get it. The conditions were anything but favorable, but these guys out played this old coach hands down. So proud of all of you... Braydon Poulson, Landon Poulson,
Cooper (Da-Coop) Ralston, and newest student, Zane Fortney.
So very proud of you all. Great show of talent displayed at Dogwood Glen Golf Course yesterday.

This is a song I recently wrote to express to all of my students that giving up or getting angry after hitting one or even more bad shots does not gain you anything. What others shoot while playing against you HAS ZERO AFFECT ON YOUR OWN SCORE. Unless you let it. Only what you do affects your score. so I will always believe and have actually experienced it my self, what the words say........3 BAD SHOTS AND 1 SHOT GOOD...... CAN STILL MAKE PAR. So never give up, quit, or count yourself out until it's all over.

Please join me in congratulating our June Student of the month, 13 year old Tyler Nichols. Tyler is starting 8th grade at Southern Wells school and lives in Keystone.
Tyler has been taking lessons at the academy since last year and has made tremendous progress and plays for the Southern Wells golf team. Tyler has an amazing positive attitude as well as an endless sense of humor. It is a pleasure to see his dedication and willingness to work hard to achieve his goal of improving his golf skills. Way to to Tyler, we’re pretty proud of your accomplishments 👍👍
