It's time to reveal the answer to this week's Trivia Tuesday question and this week's winner! In answer to this week's Trivia Tuesday question, the oldest continually registered, non-merged Scount Council in the United States is the Chief Cornplanter Council, BSA! The Chief Cornplanter Council, BSA was founded in July 1913 and is located in Warren. The Council serves youth in Warren County and Ludlow, PA. and continues to instill values in many children to this day! Many former Scouts may have fond memories of the Pinewood Derby. You can join us this Saturday at the Russell United Methodist Church in downtown Russell to cheer on our local Scouts in the Pinewood Derby. Council races begin at 10:30. There will be 68 cars to race. Between 11:30 or 12 there will be modified and adult races. At 1 p.m. the Girl Scout races will begin. The Church kitchen will be open for food and drinks. Congratulations go out to this week's winner, Richard Zip Young! You have won a gift certificate to Dreamboat Marine, the go to place for Scout apparel and a shopper's paradise for any hobbiest as well! Thank you all for playing and please come back again next week for another chance to win Trivia Tuesday!
