or self-defense, sport grappling tournaments (Gi and No-Gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition. Sparring (commonly referred to as 'rolling') and live drilling play a major role in training, and a premium is placed on performance, especially in competition. The Target Audience:
1. Students displaced from other Jiu-Jitsu or grappling arts program due to military relocation
2. Former high school or college wrestlers who are looking for a similar “team environment” or “fitness training concept”
3. Individuals who are highly competitive, but do not fit into the “team sport” environment (success is based solely on individual achievement.)
4. Individuals who are interested in the martial arts and are looking for one that is easy to learn regardless of fitness level, body competition, and flexibility
