I want to say Thank You for sharing these photos to Jeannene Vencill, Kip Lincoln, and Bob and Nancy Cooke.
These pictures are of the Aurora Borealis (aka Nothern Lights) whose light show happened last night.
Earlier this year, an eclipse occurred whose path took it through northeastern Ohio and we're advised that it may cause the light show to be visible. And boy did it!! Enjoy!~

Well, finally got an update on Clay County. We have had a maximum number of active Covid-19 cases of 82 since this whole thing began. Of those cases, 40 have recovered and there are 42 active cases in the county.

The most recent positive test was an employee at Chatuge Golf Course and is in isolation. All the other employees were tested and all of them are negative.

Hopefully, Clay County's numbers will start downward like Cherokee who is currently at 28 active cases.

No new Covid-19 figures from Clay County. Apparently, the Clay County Health Department's page has an issue and they are attempting to resolve it or set up a new page. Will report Clay's figures as soon as they are available.

But the word for Cherokee County is still getting better. I reported before that Cherokee had been as high as 133 active cases. They are now reporting that they are down to only 28 with no new deaths. Their losses are at 3 which is very sad ... but could have been sooooo much worse!

News is still not good.

Clay County has had 44 positive case with 18 recovered. There has been no Covid related death recorded but there are still 26 active cases in Clay County.

Cherokee is much more active. They have had 178 cases with 63 recovered. They have now suffered their 3rd death and still have 112 active cases.

I did go shopping at Walmart early this morning and was very happy to see almost all shoppers were wearing masks! And Walmart staff was all wearing masks and were busily cleaning and sanitizing carts, shelves, and freezer doors.

Do everything you can to stay safe.

As of yesterday, Clay County has 1 active case of Covid-19. Cherokee County has 13 active cases and has experienced a 2nd death. This death was an individual in their 80's with underlying health problems.

Keep doing everything you can to keep yourself safe!

As of yesterday, Clay County has no active cases if Covid-19.

But it appears that as of yesterday, Cherokee County is back up to 13 active cases.

"Thank you, Tammy and Evan Gaskill", who continue to add beauty and safety to our Village."

They have added "No Outlet" signs to the street signs for Pine Log Lane, Green Oak Road, and Poplar Lane with Hickory Lane still to come (which they are hoping to do their next trip here). And did I mention they are doing all of this for the Village at no cost to the Village. They are doing it out of the goodness and love in their hearts!!!

It is so nice seeing the continuing rustic signage in our beloved Village! And they do wonderful work!

And an additional "Thank you Owners" for your continued patience as your Board continues to work on Village improvements. Now looking into possibly creating turnaround areas on our dead end roads where needed.
