This from Bob Haithcock awhile back: Thanks Bill Scholl n volunteers n park staff for a well organized n tree debris free course. This is one of the most beautiful n overlooked trail races in the state run on mainly pine needle cushioned single track trails. Wish more folks would take advantage of this scenic course. I really didn’t want the race to end but you feel it on the second loop as you take in the beautiful scenery n challenging course, on on
