Hello All WRDL members,
I want to inform you that I am running as the incumbent treasurer in this November 18th WRDL BOD election. I want to give you a short bio and why I would appreciate your vote.
I have been an active member/captain in this league since 2017. I have attended most of the league meetings, events and banquets. I took on a more active role in the league after our covid restart because no one was willing to step up into the vacated secretary position. I held this position for several seasons. As the BOD continued to evolve, yet again the next Summer. I held both the secretary and interim treasurer position that was also vacated. I was then officially elected Treasure in Fall of 2022. I have now been your elected treasurer for 4 seasons. I have taken on many different levels of duties and responsibilities. This includes the pain of paperwork, making schedules, ordering food and purchasing raffle prizes ordering trophies, sweatshirts, all league supplies, as well as Backoffice supplies and paying the monthly bills to keep us running. All while maintaining a reserve that was set by our first treasurer’s example.
On a personal note I do own and operate a successful small Business of my own in Amherst MA. I am transparent and have NO personal agenda. I want only for the league to continue to grow and flourish. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them on Nov 18th or in a personal chat. Since 2017 I have invested an abundant amount of my personal time and resources to help keep this league alive. I thank you for your consideration as your WRDL Treasurer for the next 2 yrs.
