Good evening everyone. A few announcements to be made and important dates to know.
First, if anyone on your team is not part of our page, we encourage you to have them join, I post a lot of information on here during the season and try to stay as active as possible. Next the Summer banquet. This will be held at Glenda's pub on October 7th 2pm. Food spread will be from Pig Park BBQ. $10 for members who played this summer. $15 for everyone else. All are invited to come, our banquets are getting better and better and it's all thanks to you and the hard work of the BOD.
Last night we had a captain's meeting, thank you to the captains who were present and voiced your opinions.
This season we would like to welcome back the Weir River Social Club. They are sponsoring team It's All Good. The club does have a very Strick NO DRUG policy. please refrain from smoking the J on their property. Captains please inform your team of this on the nights you'll be playing out of there. We just got this place back and would like to keep it. Although ma*****na is leagal in Ma, we MUST follow the rules of all sponsor bars/pubs.
This season we are going back to the "old way" that means everyone plays everyone twice! Once home and once away. Good luck to everyone playing this season, let's make it a good one. Although currently there is no A division B division, we all play as one, it's during playoffs that the divisions will be decided. This was agreed upon by the captains at last night's meeting.
Player dues are $30 each. All dues are due by the 3rd week of play. If you do not pay you CAN NOT play until your dues are in. Please reach out to a member of the board to submit your dues. A picture of your score sheet should be sent to the dart phone within 24 hours, the sooner you get me that the faster i can get stuff posted to the page. you can find that number on your score sheet.
December 16th 2pm at Glenda's pub we will have a league meeting. This will give the players a chance to ask questions, voice their opinions and whatever else they may want to see or do, we will also be holding elections for the start of the winter season. The positions up for election are Vice President currently being held by Gary Delisle, and treasurer currently being held by Stacy Kelliher. We do have a running mate for treasurer and that is Tanya Castellano (Hersey). If you would like to put in for any of these two spots, you can reach out to any member of the BOD and let them know what position you would like to run for. Information about the responsibilities of each position will be posted soon, along with some other important information.
