Congratulations to the FDR Class of 2026 graduates! Good luck to our senior Troy as he continues his swim career next year swimming D1 at Bryant University.
Troy had many great accomplishments this year on our team- winning FDR’s Athlete of the Year, Positive Athlete Award for NY State, 2nd place at NYS Championships, setting a new Section IX Record, new OCIAA Record, 5 pool records at our meets, and 2 team records. We are proud of you Troy, and look forward to watching you swim at Marist next year when they swim Bryant!

2026 NYSPHSAA Federation Championships
Congratulations to FDR’s Troy Speare on his 2nd place finish at States!
Troy swam the 100 Butterfly in an impressive 48.54 ! This was a personal best swim for Troy, and earned him All-American Consideration, a new Section IX Record, and a new FDR Team Record!
Way to go Troy, we are proud of you !! 💚💛🏊🏻‍♂️

NYS Championship Finals today !
Troy swims in the A Final of the 100 Butterfly today !
He finished 3rd yesterday in preliminaries with a time of 49.66 which is both a new FDR Team record and a SECTION IX Record!

Section IX Championships Finals , Saturday 2/21/26. 400 Freestyle Relay , Lane 5
FDR Relay team of Troy Speare, Noah White, Ben North, and Jorge Espinoza.
They swam 3:39.86 in the B Final, taking 11th place overall.

FDR Sophomore Jorge Espinoza swam 56.34 in the A Final, taking 3rd place overall.
