In addition to the events on Feb 26 and 27, McAvoys Golf will be hosting couples golf nights on Tuesdays and Fridays, men on Wednesdays, and ladies on Thursdays. Alright everybody, let's have some fun in the cold of February. February 26th will be a big day at McAvoy's Golf. We're going to have a closest to the pin contest and long drive contest. Each will cost only $5 for 5 swings with a one time rebuy option of $3 for an additional 2 swings. Each contest will be flighted so everybody has a chance to take home a little cash. Then Sunday February 27th we're going to host the 1st Golf Clash style simulator tournament. 1 hole matches with a closest to the pin tie breaker if needed. $10 entry and double elimination. This event will be handicapped so again, anyone can win. Play well and have fun. Located at 313 Lincoln Ave in Wamego, in the back of Lincoln Street Lanes. Remember that 60° wedge the other day. Here it is in action. Hit not by me but two double digit handicappers. They're both practicing daily and making huge strides.
