Just joking around, it’s all in good fun. Thank you to all the grounds crews that are out in this heat keeping the golf course alive! I have a crazy amount of respect for them. Anyone that’s tried to maintain golf course quality turf grass in perfect conditions knows it’s difficult. This heat wave takes it to a new level!

Check out these ball markers I made for the Kansas Optometric Association golf tournament last spring!

I named my business 20/20 Golf because my day job is seeing patients as an optometrist. So when I heard that the KOA was having a golf tournament, it was only natural that I wanted to make some special ball markers.

Side one is an image of a retina. As an optometrist I get to see this daily. It’s easy to take it for granted how cool that is if I don’t take a step back to think about it from time to time.

Side two features the KOA logo that I overlaid on top of several descriptive words which I felt best described the KOA and the optometrists that it represents.

I enjoy making ball markers for all sorts of people and businesses, but this one really seemed special!

How it’s made!

A little look at how I make custom ball markers for my clients. Tony ordered 110 ball markers for his memorial tournament. He already had a great logo in mind but we took it to the next level with these solid copper ball markers. If you don’t have a logo, I’ll design one for you for free!

1. Logo design and approval
2. Select size, thickness, and metal type
3. Precision laser engraving
4. Blackening or paint fill
5. Hand polish and inspect
6. Ceramic wax clearcoat
7. Ship ball markers to your doorstep
