Reps are a guide, use them as so. Your muscles have no idea what the #10 means. The reps that matter are the ones that take 3-5 business days to get done (whatever that number may be)!

“Failure” isn’t when it start to hurt, the whole set should hurt. It’s when you quite literally don’t know if you can get the rep done.

You’re stronger than you think! Keep pushing 💪

•Pilates: helps with mobility and increases core strength
•Cardio/ HIIT: Improves cardiovascular health and endurance
•Lifting weights: best way to help decrease fat in the body, and build physique.

They all have their place. But please understand the girls you see doing Pilates, who are super “toned”, they didn’t achieve that from Pilates alone.

Pilates is a FANTASTIC support to lifting. However, there’s not enough resistance, or ways to incorporate progressive overload to increase strength and muscle over time.

Please do your research, from reliable sources, not just the skinny girl on social media 🤍

Allow me to reintroduce my self 👋🏼

My name is Danielle and I’m 29 years old. I have always been passionate about health and fitness, and really got into lifting 10 years ago. When I felt the difference in my confidence (because believe me, I used to have zero!) I wanted to be able to share that feeling, and create a safe environment for others to learn and become healthy and confident too!

August of 2021 I took the plunge and launched DCrone Fit. I have had the pleasure of working with so many amazing women, of all different ages, helping them hit their goals.

Nothing brings me more joy, then seeing these ladies become strong, confident, and BALANCED.

So here is a thread, showcasing just a few of the amazing transformations, that I’ve had the pleasure of being part of!
