Calling all WV Girls Basketball Alumni!!!

On Friday, Dec. 16th we would like to welcome you back to WVHS for an alumni recognition night! Coach Mark Clinkenbeard will also be recognized for his induction into the Alumni Hall of Fame!

We will host district rival, Simon Kenton: JV at 6:00 and Varsity at 7:30. The recognition ceremony will take place before the Varsity game.

We would love to highlight the achievements of the awesome women who have built this program!

Hi all! The timing of the June 4th Alumni Banquet didn't line up with the schedules of many of the 2012 team. Because we want to celebrate as many of you as possible we have decided to push that recognition to another time.

The alumni association will still recognize Coach Clink on the 4th and all current and former players are welcome to attend and celebrate with Mark!

Share with all your friends and family! This year WV Girl's Basketball will be hosting a Sunday Skills Series focusing on different elements of the game each night! Grades 3-8 and all skill levels / positions welcome!

On June 4th, 2022 the WV Alumni Association will be hosting their annual Alumni Banquet and will be honoring the 2012 All A State Championship basketball team! They will also be recognizing the career of Coach Clinkenbeard and want to invite all his former players to join in that recognition.

Typically, there is a $25 ticket price, however, I will not know the exact amount for this year until closer to time.

We were so disappointed that weather cancelled our plans to honor the 2012 team and Coach Clink during the season so are very grateful for this second chance.

We hope you can make the event and I will update with more information as it becomes available. Again, this event is open to former and current players, as well as parents!

All, just a reminder that we will be recognizing the 2012 All A State Championship team on Friday, Feb 4th!

There will also be a reception following the game where we can gather, have light snacks, and celebrate the team as well as Coach Clink's career!
