Walton Baseball We brought back a Pony league team last year for those who love the game of baseball and want to play it as much as possible.

12u, 13u-16u, 19u
The Upstate Chiefs team has been established since 2022 when a 13u team of players from a crossed the County were brought to Cooperstown All-Star village. Years prior it was better known as Legion/Post 32. We have many goals that we would like to present and accomplish over the next few years, one of them is bringing our old legion field back to regulation (located at Austin Lincoln).

You can’t be 17 before September 1 and you need to be 13 before May 1
We are going to start Thursday, June 11 last league game 7/13

Walton Warriors 16u- Robinson with a Walk It Off Win In Fashion Versus Unatego Pony

It came down to the wire on Monday, as Walton Warriors 16u grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 6-5, over Unatego Pony. The game was tied at five in the bottom of the seventh when Hayden Robinson singled, scoring one run.

Cameron Clark started the game for Walton Warriors 16u. The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and four runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking four.

Everet West threw two innings of shutout ball for Walton Warriors 16u in relief. The lefty surrendered one hit, striking out four and walking one.

Dylan Gardepe, the number seven hitter for Walton Warriors 16u, led the way with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 3-for-4 on the day. Jordan Tolbert collected two hits for Walton Warriors 16u in three at bats. Walton Warriors 16u had a strong eye at the plate, piling up eight walks for the game. Clark and Robinson led the team with two bases on balls each.

Walton Warriors tallied 13 hits in the 10-0 win versus the Delhi Patriots. Clark and Scofield each collected three hits for the Walton Warriors. Clark and Scofield each drove in two runs for Walton Warriors. Trystan Haywood and Ben Guglielmo each collected multiple hits for the Warriors. West paced the Walton Warriors with two walks and 12k’s. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Scofield stole two bases. Walton Warriors six bases in the game.The Warriors are 1-2 on the season.
