Danielle and Connie started the morning competing at the 1st Annual Fight for GIRL in Hartford, Connecticut.

It was a great event, and we’re grateful to have been a part of it. Both Danielle and Connie stepped up, put on a great performance, and brought home belts! 🏆🏆

This month, we’re proud to recognize Stratos Makios as our June Contender of the Month at STC Boxing & Fitness.

A student at Bentley University, Stratos has become one of the hardest-working athletes in the gym. His motivation, discipline, and commitment to improving have been evident since day one. Whether it’s early mornings, late nights, or multiple sessions throughout the week, Stratos continues to put in the hours of training each and every day.

His dedication isn’t just about getting through workouts—it’s about developing every aspect of his boxing. From sharpening his technique and conditioning to pushing himself during every round, Stratos has embraced the process and continues to raise the bar.

With his sights set on stepping into the ring for his first amateur boxing match this September, he’s putting in the work now to be fully prepared when the time comes. We’re excited to watch his journey continue and see all of that hard work pay off.

This program is built for members who are serious about stepping into the ring and developing as competitive boxers. Over 10 weeks, every Monday and Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 PM you’ll train alongside dedicated teammates in a structured environment focused on skill development, conditioning, ring IQ, and accountability.

3 days of hard work, learning, and stepping outside the comfort zone. 🥊

We had an awesome time working with the students from this week at STC Boxing & Fitness. Throughout the program they learned the fundamentals of boxing — stance, footwork, punches, defense, conditioning, and teamwork.

What stood out most was the effort and willingness to challenge themselves. By the final day, several students even stepped into the ring for controlled sparring and partner drills, putting their skills, focus, and confidence to the test. 👊

Proud of the energy and growth this group showed all week long. Thank you Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School for trusting us with your students and allowing us to share the sport of boxing with them.
