What a weekend of amateur boxing! Two days, three events, and twelve fights. The weekend kicked off Saturday morning with “Fight for GIRL” in CT. An all-female event that saw Selene, Karen, and Steph all perform brilliantly in competitive bouts. Selene went home with some new hardware, and all the ladies left with some incredible experience. Later that night, we brought the young guns over to Ed Lavache at Boston Boxing. Avi, Luis, Ozzy, Basem, Joaquin, Dan, and Anika all got to get some high quality rounds in front of a great crowd. Lastly, on Sunday morning we headed out to Topsfield for “Fight Night at The Fairgrounds,” hosted by Sonny’s Boxing. Both Charlie and Colin found themselves in WARS with two fantastic boxers. In the end, Charlie took home a hard-earned decision against an opponent that he’d previously lost to, and Colin got his first sanction win against a skilled opponent. The team showed up in numbers to each event, and made their presence known throughout. All three events were well-run and an absolute blast to be part of. Looking forward to the next one.

Nolan Bros Boxing is excited to announce our newest signing: Sage Rosario!

Sage is a 12 time National Champion with dynamite in both hands. In addition to a remarkable amateur boxing career, she was an exceptional high school wrestler and is a current member of TBL’s Boston Butchers.

At just 19 years old, Sage is poised to make an immediate impact in both professional boxing and MMA. This future world champion is THE prospect to watch.

Great night of boxing in Fall River yesterday. Team NBB went 1-1 with two terrific bouts. Colin fought-well over three rounds. We got some tweaks to make, but we’re happy with his performance and excited about his future. Charlie FINALLY got an opponent to show up, and he made the most of it with an emphatic third round stoppage. It was Charlie’s best performance to date over arguably the best opponent he’s faced (coming into the bout at 10-1). Looking to carry some momentum into SONNYS BOXING AND FITNESS show at the end of the month. Shoutout to Bernardo’s Boxing Charitable foundation Inc. for the remarkable event. On to the next. Still here. Still fresh.

The biggest rematch in New England takes place on October 24th, at the famed Mechanics Hall in Worcester Massachusetts. “The Retrial” will see Boston’s two biggest stars run it back with even higher stakes. “The Golden Child” and the man they call “Vicious” will meet at 147 lbs for the WBC US Welterweight championship. Ten rounds of action, picking up right where they left off. Ticket information coming soon. This show WILL sell out faster than anything we’ve previously put together.
