Greenfield Racing 4L & 5B Dirt Tracking racing, Go Kart loving boy! Hello all, my name is Lucas Greenfield. I am 7 currently but my birthday is May
8th, and I will turn 8!

It’s my golden birthday which I am excited for. I am from
Walters, MN. I currently don’t have any accomplishments as I have never raced
before. My parents and grandparents recently helped me purchase my first racing
Go Kart. Last year I spent a lot of time with my parents going to the races and
learning what it’s about from the outside. This year is my year, and I am ecstatic to be able to get beh

ind the wheel of my
very own car. I have some big dreams to follow and big shoes to fill. Both of my
parents come from racing families. My mom grew up in AZ where her grandpa,
uncle and two cousins all raced anything from Sprint cars, late models, modifieds
and hobby stocks. My dad Travis grew up going to sprint car races and at the age
of 19 started out in hobby stock and then into a sport modified. My dad raced
until I was born in 2015 as my mom ended up having brain surgery and we just
never went back to race besides to watch. I really enjoy the races, the racing
community, and the dedication it takes on and off the track. For the 2023 season I would like to get on track and get the feel for how my car
handles, what it takes to get my car set and ready to race. My goals for the 2023
race season are the following. I would like to win a race, visit a couple different
tracks, and learn a lot.

On Saturday, January 24th, we traveled to Brookings, SD for the boys’ race banquet, celebrating an unforgettable season at University Plains Speedway.

Lucas wrapped up his first year in BP by finishing 3rd in points. BP is a tough class filled with a lot of talented drivers, and through all the ups and downs of the season, he stayed focused and competitive—an incredible accomplishment for his first year.

Bristol also had an outstanding season, finishing 2nd in points in what was his first year driving an RBox. There were plenty of challenges along the way, but his growth, determination, and resilience truly showed.

I am beyond proud of both boys. Racing is never easy, and this season had its fair share of ups and downs, but their hard work and dedication never wavered. We also can’t thank our sponsors enough for their continued support—none of this would be possible without you.

We wanted to share an update as we head into a new season. Over the summer, Facebook deactivated our 4L Racing page, and with both boys racing, things got busy and I fell behind on posting updates. To make everything easier to follow, we have updated and renamed our page to Greenfield Racing 4L & 5B so both boys’ racing journeys can be shared together.

We are also excited to welcome our newest and youngest racer, Bristol Greenfield! This past season was his first year on the track, and he has already shown so much heart and determination. We’re proud to have him officially joining the Greenfield Racing team alongside Lucas.

We also want to thank all of our sponsors for your continued support. Even though we didn’t make it out to visit everyone in person, your names and businesses were proudly displayed on both karts all season long. Your support means the world to our family and to the boys.
