Walterboro Soccer Club

Walterboro Soccer Club Our purpose is to provide competitive academy and recreational (in-house) soccer programs for youth in Walterboro and the surrounding areas.

We are members of the Lowcountry Youth Soccer League (LYSL), South Carolina Youth Soccer Association (SCYSA) and US Youth Soccer. Our purpose is to provide a recreational soccer program educating and instructing children in the Walterboro, Colleton County area. Walterboro Soccer Club is a non-profit, independent club whose entire operating budget comes from registration fees, sponsorship, and fund raisers.

Good evening all - out of an abundance of caution, we are going to cancel all practices tonight due to this stormy weather which has been unpredictable. I don’t want to waste people’s time trying to play in between these pop-up storms. Encourage your kids to take some time out there with a ball this weekend or tune into some premier league soccer on TV. We hope to see everyone next Tuesday!

We hope everyone is excited for another season of Wildfire Soccer!!

Please remember NO child should be on the field if they are not registered to play.

Also we are sanctioned by the SCYSL, so there are certain rules we must abide by a major one is that all players must be registered to play through Playmetircs. There will be NO walk-in registrations allowed! NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Thanks to a new coach, we’ve opened a new fall season group for to cover birthdates 8/1/2018-7/31/2020! This age group will start on 9/3 (not 8/25 with the other groups) and parent must remain at the complex throughout the session. Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-6:45pm. We are still working on being able to open up other ages at this time, please bear with us. Spaces are limited. At this time U11 is full, U14 boys have limited space, and U14 girls group is still available!

🔥⚽Soccer Fall Season 2026 details⚽🔥

Season will start on August 25th and run thru to Wildfire Day on November 14th. U11 & U14 teams will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm. Shinguards are mandatory for all players and we only accept sign-ups via the portal as these register our players with the state soccer association.

Upon logging into your Playmetrics account it will give you an option of registering for a group if your child(ren) qualify for a specific program. We are still waiting on confirmation for further coaches but cannot open the portal until those are confirmed - bear with us.

We do provide some balls but do not have enough for everyone. If you wish to purchase a ball locally Walmart and sports stores carry them. U4, U6 & U8 use a size 3 ball. U10 & U13 use a size 4 ball. Team uniforms will be distributed later on in the season.

Hello Soccer Families as we get closer to the start of our upcoming spring season we are still in need of soccer coaches!

Teams are ages Sparks, U6, and U8, practices are 2 days/week. Halfway through the season we will transition into games 2 days/week.

Experience is not required—$250 plus licensing opportunities!
