Today we celebrate family, cookouts, and the incredible privilege of living in the greatest nation on earth. But as we celebrate, let's remember that the freedoms we enjoy every day came at an incredible cost.

Countless brave men and women have stood watch, served, sacrificed, and given everything so that we could live in a country where freedom is more than just a word—it is a way of life.

As President Ronald Reagan wisely said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." It is our responsibility to protect it, cherish it, and teach the next generation why it matters.

Our flag represents courage. Our Constitution represents liberty. Our military, veterans, first responders, and all who have answered the call to serve remind us that freedom has always required sacrifice.

Today, may we be grateful—not just for the blessings of America—but for those who continue to defend her. Let us never take for granted the rights we have or the people who stand ready to protect them.

God bless those who have served, those who continue to serve, and the families who sacrifice alongside them.

🇺🇸 Freedom isn't free. It never has been, and it never will be. May we always be worthy of the price that has been paid for it.
