Bronco Baseball Academy (BBA) was established in 2001 by Ben Campopiano and Jon Campopiano, former head varsity baseball coaches at Northgate High School. Ben was Northgate's head coach during the 2010 and 2011 seasons, and was the Director of Baseball operations at Santa Clara University from 2011-2015. Ben is now the owner/operator of BBA and is the Principal at Miramonte High School in Orinda.

Prior to becoming Miramonte's Principal, he served as the Principal at Pine Hollow Middle School in Concord for three years. BBA has expanded each year and has helped thousands of youth players in the San Francisco Bay Area improve their baseball skills and have fun playing the game. In 2012 BBA increased the number of summer camps so that more youth players could experience the fun and improve their game. Bronco Baseball Academy is dedicated to providing comprehensive instruction to ballplayers of all skill and age levels. BBA combines a steady training of fundamentals and skill drills with fun, competitive games and events that strengthen every player's ability to succeed between the lines. Besides expert evaluation and training, players attending the Bronco Baseball Academy can expect to have fun, improve their skills, and learn how to compete at the highest levels.
