2023 Bowman Gray season is in the books, definitely not the season we were hoping for. Finished P8 in the final points standing with 1- top 5 and 9- top 10s in 13 starts. We had high hopes going into the season but it just didn’t work out.

Drew shotgun on the field last night which was P16, was able to make it up to finish P8. Car was a little to loose, which we battled all day after making a big change this week. All in all a decent night, no damage to repair we can work on the handling and try to come back stronger for the season finale.

Back at BGS last night after a rainout last week. We started P9 and was making forward progress early to only be turned around on lap 2. Went the rear of a 16 car field came back to finish P6.
Two more weeks left gloves are coming off to finish the season strong.

Started P16 last night of 18, finished P11. Had a decent car just way to free center off and made it hard to get the drive needed off the corner to make clean passes in traffic. Started P5 last night, got shuffled back from the the start, started to make some headway and was turned around, then completely lost it on my own in turn 3 and decided to park it. Trying to race and cramping all over not the best choice. I did what I could for as long as I could, sorry for the let down last night for our fans and sponsors, we’ll get the car and driver better for next weekend.

We hate to do this but feel like it’s the best decision for my family and our crews families. We will not be racing at Bowman Gray Stadium this weekend due to being gone on vacation next week. We will return next weekend. This week we’ll be helping and supporting friends.

Another rough go at it this weekend, had a fast car in evening practice and unfortunately luck of the draw we started 14th. Didn’t even make a lap and ended up turned in the grass for being drove thru, which would have never happened if someone would turn the wheel back up the track coming off the corner instead of continuing to turn left! Thought we were ok but broke a steering rack and was done for the night. We’ll get it fixed and come back stronger after the break.
