Race day weather is looking nice. Cool morning and not too hot in the afternoon. And...no t-storms in the forecast this time around. We will, however, have some south winds increasing through the day. This should help the water levels, but will bring some chop in the more open water sections of the 50 mile course. Be prepared to handle wind and chop around I-10. In case of any emergency there, it is generally shallow and the winds will push you towards safe ground. But, be prepared. Once you make the turn into Old River you'll be cruising with a nice tailwind.

Registration is still open. Weather is looking a little windy, but very nice. South winds will hopefully push some water into the shallow areas. Let's hope for no thunderstorms this year 🤞🤞

Last week to register for LR50! Come out and get a hat...if you finish the 50. The new detour in the 10 mile course is going to add some fun. We're excited about the new sections and finish of the 50. And we're bringing fresh Oktoberfest beer!!!
