Rutherford Little League is holding a General public meeting Tuesday October 6th, at 8:30pm at the Little League Clubhouse.

After a 7th inning walk off home-run last night, our 12U team advances to the Section 2 Championship against Bayonne, tonight at 7pm.

Tough loss for our 12U team last night. They’re back at it against West Essex tonight @ 7pm.

The winner of tonight’s game will play Bayonne in the first game of the Section 2 Championship on Wednesday.

Swing by Tom Mellody Field tonight as Rutherford takes on Bayonne at 6pm.

West Essex will face Palisades Park at 8pm in the first game of the elimination bracket.

Congratulations to our 12U team on defeating a strong West Essex team, 4–1, in Game 1 of the Section 2 Tournament last night.

Rutherford plays Bayonne today at 3pm, and West Essex will face Palisades Park at 5pm in the first game of the elimination bracket.

We are monitoring the weather closely and will post an update here if there are any changes to the schedule.

Congratulations to FDU, your 2026 Rutherford Little League Town Champions!

Both teams gave spectators a thrilling Tuesday night, battling hard into the bottom of the 6th inning, with FDU coming out on top against Fire, 8-7 to end the series.

Thank you to all of the players, coaches, parents, volunteers, and sponsors that were instrumental in making this season such a huge success. A special shoutout to Fairleigh Dickinson University for their player and coaches goodie bags, and their support over the last several years.

Next up - tournament season. Wishing all of our teams good luck this summer, we’ll be counting the days until the 2027 season kicks off.
