Baran's Kenpo Karate opened up in 1994 and has helped teach the benefits of the Martial Arts to thousands of students and families in the Meriden and Wallingford area. Our Kids program focuses on developing a strong mind and body in children and our Adults program is geared towards getting students in the best shape of their lives while learning valuable self defense skills. All while having a great time and making new friends for life.

From July 6–11, Little Dragons and Phase 1 students are invited to bring a friend to class!

It’s a great opportunity to share the fun, confidence, focus, and excitement of martial arts with someone special. Whether it’s a sibling, friend, cousin, or classmate, we’d love to welcome them to the dojo for a week of kicks, smiles, and new experiences.

Luca wasn’t exactly worried when Mr. Zach decided to test his upward block… 😂👊🏻

Some kids hesitate. Some second guess themselves. Luca? He stepped up like he already knew what to do and said "I can do it!" 💯

Huge congratulations to Luca and everyone else who earned their white belts. 🥋 A white belt is the first step, but it’s still earned. This was proof that hard work and confidence go a long way.
