URGENT: VIKINGS CONCESSION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – THIS SUNDAY (afternoon session).

Vikings families — we are currently looking for adult volunteers for the 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM games this Sunday to help keep our concession stand open for the final two games of the day.

Please note: Concession volunteers must be adults — no teenagers or children may work the concession stand.

We only need a handful of people to fill the remaining afternoon shifts. If you have a child playing earlier in the day and are able to stick around and help afterward, that would be beyond helpful and greatly appreciated.

The only way we are able to keep things like our concession stand running is through families who are willing to sacrifice a little of their time to help support the league. We truly appreciate everyone who steps up!

We’ll handle concession volunteers on a week-by-week basis, but right now our priority is filling the open slots for the 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM games this Sunday at Lyman Hall.

Update: the fraudulent account has been deactivated & Wallingford PD is currently investigating. Our account is safe and you can continue to transact.

🚨 ATTENTION ALL VIKINGS FAMILIES – IMPORTANT VENMO ALERT 🚨

We discovered this morning that someone created a fake Venmo account designed to look almost identical to ours. Police are involved and Venmo has launched an investigation.

Our ONLY Venmo is:

⚠️ The “0” in 06492 is the NUMBER ZERO — not the letter O.
⚠️ Our account is a BUSINESS PROFILE. (Not a personal profile) (verified with a blue checkmark)

If you have Venmoed the Vikings recently, please double-check your transaction and confirm it went to our business account with 06492. If it went to the fraudulent account, please contact Venmo immediately to report it.

We have received almost all Jets payments (but not 100%), but unfortunately we have no way of knowing whether anyone making a popcorn buyout payment was affected.

We are including our official QR code with this message. Please use it or carefully type for any future payments.

We are incredibly sorry this happened and thankful we caught it this morning. The fraudulent account is being investigated and we are working to have it shut down as quickly as possible.

One quick clarification: We woke up this morning to discover that Double Good independently added “bonus time” to our fundraiser. We were not notified in advance and had no knowledge that the fundraiser would be extended.

While we are ALWAYS happy to accept additional fundraising support for our Vikings, our contest officially ended at the deadline communicated in our original rules. We want to stay true to what was promised to every family who participated, so the standings at that deadline are final and the winners above are official. 🏆

Most importantly — THANK YOU AGAIN! These record-breaking sales are going to allow us to do some amazing things for our athletes and our league.
