Shouting congratulations to our coach Hillary Valentin and to our athlete Sarena on getting their well deserved first podium/flag at HYROX America Salt Lake City!

This was a tough course and a tough race. They didn’t PR. They got their first penalty ever which can shake most athletes up. But at Momentum we don’t train for best case scenario. We don’t cry about judges, turfs, sleds, etc.

We train to the best of our ability, remain focused and composed, and run the race as planned.

These ladies are a perfect example of that and that’s what got them their first flag (first of many).

‘Movement has shaped every chapter of my life—from following workout DVDs in my basement as a kid to stepping on stage as a bodybuilding competitor. What began as a focus on aesthetics has grown into a deeper, more meaningful pursuit. Since becoming a NASM Certified Personal Trainer in 2022, I’ve expanded my expertise as a Pain-Free Movement Specialist, FRC Mobility Specialist, comprehensively trained Pilates Instructor, and Somatic Breathwork Practitioner.

Today, I’m driven to help people build strength they can rely on, move with confidence, and truly understand their bodies. I believe wellness isn’t about chasing perfection—it’s about creating sustainable habits that support you for life. My mission is to empower you to move with authenticity, breathe with intention, and make wellness a natural, lasting part of your everyday life.’

We’ve talked about making this video for a long time.

We kept waiting for the perfect setup, the perfect edit, and the perfect time-and eventually realized we just needed to hit record.

We realize that while all our members know us personally, a lot of the people that visit our page or check out our events do not.

So here we are. A simple conversation with Harvyn and Hillary. We are not influencers and this is not a trendy reel.
We’re co-owners of Momentum, trainers, husband and wife, and parents.

It’s a simple conversation about who we are, why we started Momentum, and what we hope people experience when they walk through our doors.

Hyrox Chicago 2026 💥
This weekend showed our clients what it’s like to be a part of a Hyrox Training Club. You don’t train alone, you don’t travel alone, and you don’t race alone. We had a team of 9 racers head to the Windy City and we had an absolute blast! 3 racers made their debut and had a great time doing so, 5 repeating racers set new PR’s, and one racer made his big comeback after a hand surgery. All in all it was a weekend full of fun and we can’t wait for the next one! Phoenix here we come ✈️
