A heartfelt thank you to Riley Smith for serving as Coordinator of Friends of Houston Park and organizing cleanups and volunteer efforts over the last 2 years. Riley graduated from Strath Haven High School in 2025 and is now studying Environmental Science at Ursinus College. We’re proud of Riley’s dedication and wish her the very best in this next chapter!

Stepping into the Coordinator role is Ryan Mudrick, a senior at Strath Haven, Delaware County Technical High School and a varsity football player. While fall may be a bit quieter with football season underway, Ryan is ready to help coordinate cleanups and keep the momentum going.

Sorry it's been so quiet around here friends...college application prep makes some of us very busy!

If your group/team/friends are interested in park clean up, please comment here & we'll reach out! Park clean ups can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours & any little bit helps to keep the woods & fields clean!

PS...let us know if the trash cans are full after soccer games, we'll make sure that gets picked up asap!
